BACHELOR IN TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL TEACHER EDUCATION

Bachelor in Technical Vocational Teacher Education is a three-year (or more) college program/degree that prepares students to become a skilled educator in Technical-Vocational and Livelihood Education (TVLE) within the K-12 system, Senior High TVL track, TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) centers, or higher education. Graduates are equipped to teach, design curricula, and meet TESDA'S Trainer's Methodology requirements without needing additional certification after passing the LET. This program/degree has two majors which offers:
  • Major in Home Economics and Livelihood Education / HELE*students will learn to teach life skills - like food service, garment, construction, entrepreneurship, and hospitality - within both school and training.
  • Major in Computer Programmingstudents will be prepared to teach programming languages, web development, systems development, and more. Programming competencies include .NET, Java, PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and other tech tools - all aligned with industry standards.
  • Students will be TVET-certified as a trainer-assessor, meeting TESDA standards right after graduation
  • Students will develop both technical mastery and pedagogical skills for real educational environments
  • The program/degree opens career paths in secondary education, higher education, training centers, industry, and entrepreneurial ventures
  • This program/degree emphasizes practical, hands-on learning, bridging education and industry through OJT and field exposure
