Job Description
  • Responsible for ensuring the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems that support the organization’s information systems infrastructure
  • Collaborates with the IT team to support upgrades, moves, and emergency response related to electrical systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, and fixtures in IT areas, server rooms, and data centers.
  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all MIS-related equipment, including UPS systems, backup generators, and power distribution units (PDUs).
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems supporting IT infrastructure.
  • Assist with the setup and relocation of IT hardware, ensuring all electrical needs are met safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues affecting MIS systems and recommend upgrades or improvements.
  • Work closely with IT staff to support network and hardware deployments with appropriate electrical solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work, inspections, and maintenance related to MIS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Participate in IT and facilities planning related to expansion, upgrades, or relocations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an IT or data center environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems related to computers, servers, network equipment, and backup power systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of workplace safety and electrical safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with IT and facilities teams
  • Amenable to work in Cainta, Rizal
